Ronaldo de Assis Moreia is popularly known as Ronaldinho or Ronaldinho Gaucho was born on 21 march 1980. Ronaldinho is also known as "little Ronaldo" or "Gaucho" to distinguish himself from the other Brazilian player Ronaldo

Ronaldinho's love and talent for the game began to prosper when he was playing futsal and beach football. He was discovered as a rising star when he made two goals on penalty kick in U-17 World Championship in Egypt in 1997.

He was titled as FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004-05, and he won the same title consecutively for the second time in the year 2005-06. He is one of the few Brazilian players who have played at every international age level. He has won many awards such as Spanish La Liga in 2004-05 and 2005-06, Spanish Super cup in the year 2005-06, Champions league in 2005-06, Copa America in the year 1998-99 and 2004-05,FIFA World Cup 2002 ,Confederation Cup in the year 2004-05. He also grabbed European football of the Year award and FIFPro World Player Award.

He is considered as the strongest player of the Brazilian Squad.

It has come up as a shock that Ronaldinho was left out of Brazil's squad for World Cup qualifiers and the Confederations Cup. It is a surprise n shock for Ronaldinho fans as they were disappointed with the news and they are worried about the Brazil winning the FIFA World Cup
